Driver Less Vision
by Daniel Perlin, Urtzi Grau, Guillermo Fernández-Abascal, Max Lauter
Dome Installation and 360 video, The Seoul Biennial of Architecture 2017 and Designs for Different Futures Exhibit, The Philidelphia Museum of Art and Walker Art Center, 2020.
This 360 dome and VR project explores the tension between artificial intelligence (AI) and humans as they negotiate seoul’s changing urban landscape with the arrival of autonomous vehicles. It positions the user as the autonomous vehicle, imagining a future where, after THE EVENT, humans are missing, gone, or underground. The piece premiered at the Seoul Biennial of Architecture, 2017.
In 2020 Driver Less Vision was invited to be part of the traveling exhibition Designs for Different Futures at the Philidelphia Museum of Art and The Walker Art Center.
